How to report a Korail lost item
- Call the customer center: 1544-7788
- Or report via the Korail website or app
- Still at the station? Go to the station office right away — many items turn up during post-arrival cleaning.
Have your train number, travel date/time, route, and car/seat number ready, plus a clear description. Contact details are in the Korail directory entry.
Picking it up
If the item is found but can't be returned the same day, staff can transfer it to a station you choose for pickup and let you know when it's ready.
If it's been moved to police
Items unclaimed by passengers are handed to a nearby police station after a holding period and appear on Lost112, searchable by date, area, and item type.
Riding SRT instead?
SRT is a separate operator — see the SRT lost and found guide.
Need help in English?
Korail's phone line and stations operate mainly in Korean. If that's a barrier or you've left Korea, we can recover and ship your item.
