Palaces, museums, and theme parks in Korea all run an information desk or lost & found where found items are held. Start there.

Step 1: Ask at the information desk / lost & found

Contact or visit the site's information desk with the date, area, and a clear description. Big attractions (theme parks, major museums) often have a dedicated lost & found and can ship items home. Contacts for popular sites are in the attractions directory.

Step 2: Check Lost112

If the item was turned in to police, it's searchable on Lost112 (lost112.go.kr) by date, area, and item type.

Tips

Report before you leave the site if you can — staff can check nearby facilities quickly. For valuables, bring ID to collect.

Need help in English?

Many site desks operate mainly in Korean. If that's a barrier or you've left Korea, we can check, recover, and ship your item.
