Call the office holding it (shown on each item) to confirm it is still there and when you can come, then collect it in person with your passport or ID. Expect an identity check against the name on the bankbook or seal. With a power of attorney, we can collect it for you.

How long are found items kept?

Items left on the subway, a train or bus, at an airport or in a shop are first kept by that operator's lost & found, then handed to the police, usually within about a week. The police hold found property for six months.

Where are recently found ones held?

Most of those found in the last 7 days are held at: 남양주북부경찰서, 남산지구대, 부천소사경찰서, 서울강서경찰서, 수색역(한국철도공사).
