Incheon Airport (ICN) lost and found
Incheon is one of the busiest airports in Asia, and items left at security, gates, lounges, or restaurants get logged quickly into the airport's lost-and-found system. The challenge for foreign travelers is that the office operates primarily in Korean, with limited international phone support. We bridge that — calling, confirming, retrieving, and shipping.
How LFK helps
- 1
Tell us what and where
Submit a free report with the date, terminal (T1 or T2), approximate area (security checkpoint, specific gate, lounge, restaurant, etc.), and a description of the item with any distinguishing marks. The more specific, the faster we can match.
- 2
We contact ICN's lost-and-found office
Incheon Airport runs a dedicated lost-and-found office in each terminal. We call in Korean, describe your item, and check whether it's been logged. Items typically appear in the system 1–6 hours after being turned in.
- 3
Confirmation with photos
When ICN confirms a likely match, we ask them to photograph it for verification. Once you confirm, we authorize pickup.
- 4
Retrieve and ship home
We collect the item from the airport, package it properly, and ship via EMS or express courier to your address. Most international destinations land within 5–10 business days.
Frequently asked
How long does ICN keep unclaimed items?
Generally 30 days at the lost-and-found office, after which items move to longer-term storage or are disposed of by category. The first week is the easiest window for recovery.
I'm already on my flight home — is it too late?
No. Most of our airport cases are travelers already back home. We act as your local hands and ship internationally.
What if I left it at a specific airline counter or lounge?
Items at airline counters / lounges are sometimes held by the airline rather than passed to airport lost-and-found. Mention the airline name and we'll check both channels.
Can you handle items left in security trays?
Yes — security checkpoint items are turned over to the airport lost-and-found office, usually the same day. Tell us the rough time and security lane if you remember.
Do you cover Incheon Terminal 2 (Korean Air, Delta, Air France, KLM)?
Yes — both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 have their own lost-and-found offices and we contact whichever applies based on which airline you flew.
