Found your lost item in Korea — but they won't ship it abroad?
You know exactly where your item is — an airport lost & found, a police station, a subway or transit lost-property office. The problem isn't finding it. The problem is that Korean lost-property offices only offer domestic courier delivery or in-person pickup — they do not ship internationally. So if you've already left the country, you're stuck: the item is right there, and no one will send it to you. That's the exact gap we close. With your authorization, we collect it from the holding office and ship it to your home country.
How LFK helps
- 1
You already know where it is — so there's no search
Your item is confirmed at a holding office: an airport lost & found, a police station, or a transit lost-property office. Because the location is known, this is recovery and shipping only — faster and cheaper than a full search.
- 2
You authorize us to collect it
We act on your behalf with a signed authorization and a copy of your ID, plus any verification the specific office requires. We tell you exactly what's needed for your case before you pay anything.
- 3
We collect it and ship it abroad
We go to the holding office, present your authorization, collect your item, and send it to your home country by international courier (EMS, DHL, and similar).
- 4
What it costs — clear and upfront
A flat service fee — $49 for international delivery, or $39 for domestic — covers our collection and handling. The actual courier cost (EMS, etc.) is billed separately at cost, once the weight and destination are known. No hidden markup.
Frequently asked
Why won't the airport or police just mail it to me overseas?
They don't offer it. Korean lost-property holders — airport lost & found, the police, transit offices — only allow domestic courier or in-person pickup. International shipping simply isn't a service they provide. That's the gap we bridge.
I've already flown home. Can you still get my item?
Yes — this is exactly who we help. Most of our customers have already left Korea. With your authorization we collect the item and ship it worldwide.
What do you need from me?
Your authorization to act on your behalf: a signed authorization form and a copy of your ID, plus any additional verification the specific institution requires. We confirm the exact requirements for your case first.
Do you have to "find" it first?
No. If the location is already confirmed, you skip the search entirely — this is recovery and shipping only, which is why it costs less than our full find-and-recover service.
How much is it, all in?
A $49 international (or $39 domestic) service fee, paid upfront, plus the actual courier cost billed separately at cost. You see the courier estimate before it ships.
